France utterly condemns the terrorist attacks carried out on April 14 in Mogadishu, notably against the Somali capital’s courthouse.
According to the latest reports, more than 40 people were killed in these attacks, including women and children, and several dozen others were injured.
In these tragic circumstances, France expresses its condolences to the bereaved and reaffirms its solidarity with the Somali authorities and people.
While the terrorists tried to strike at one of the symbols of the return to the rule of law, France will continue, together with the international community, to support the efforts of the federal government to restore peace and security for the benefit of the Somali people.
