Campaign to abolish the death penalty

As part of the campaign to abolish the death penalty, the Quai d’Orsay’s spokesman, Mr. Philippe Lalliot, will respond to questions on Twitter on Tuesday, 9 October at 3:00 pm. (Paris time).

This Q&A session will take place ahead of the event scheduled for the same day, when Mr. Laurent Fabius will bring together at the Quai d’Orsay campaigners and advocates for the abolition of the death penalty from around the world, on the eve of the World Day against the Death Penalty.

YQuestions can already be submitted to the spokesperson on Twitter by using the hashtag #QRdiplo in your tweets. Mr Philippe Lalliot will respond on the ministry’s account, @francediplo.

This event falls within the framework of the global campaign for the universal abolition of the death penalty which Laurent Fabius has made a priority for the French diplomacy.
