Q : Ambassador Araud, what is France going to say today at the Council on the North Korean rocket launch ?
We will express our support to our friends and allies in the region, especially Japan but also South Korea, and all the countries which are on the forefront of this crisis. It is a clear violation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions, and the Council has to react strongly.
Q : Do you think that the Security Council will react today ?
We would want to have a strong reaction today, but that will habe to be negotiated with our partners at the Security Council.
